Ana de la Reguera and Ana Gasteyer Bio
Ana Kristina Gasteyer, an American actor and comedian. The actress became well-known for her appearance as a host of the NBC comedy sketch show Saturday Night Live in 1996-2002. Since then, Gasteyer has been a part of ABC's Suburgatory TBS People of Earth NBC American Auto and film Mean Girls. Gasteyer was a student at Northwestern University when she began her acting career. Her first course was majoring in voice, but then moved to theater after joining the campus' improv team. The same spirit has accompanied her through a number of roles supporting like the overly controlling Sheila Shay on Suburgatory and the eccentric Karen Grisham (agent) on Lady Dynamite. She's appeared on telenovelas, the HBO series Eastbound & Down & Capadocia as well as Amazon's Goliath. Reguera is a Mexican-born actor. Her mother, Nena of la Reguera, was a Miss Veracruz who became a journalist and TV personality. Reguera began taking ballet classes after which she began to study performing arts at the Instituto Veracruzano de la Cultura.
